Qantas Credit Union

I applied for a personal loan with these guys. I have a very good history with them (always pay my loans early). This time the process was a complete nightmare. Asked for my payslips, bank statements (fair enough), but then for my wifes payslips and all her banking statements and history. I have a good credit history. Told me I would probably not be successful because I dont bank with them. They then try and sell me a mortgage package. Made the whole process so complicated for such an easy task that I ended up getting approval over the phone for a loan with other Union instead on exactly the same rate. Had the money the very next day too. Avoid!!!

The staff that work at the Qantas Staff Credit Union treat you as a family member or friend rather than a customer wanting something. Their voices are so happy and not contrived.
Nothing is ever a bother for them. They do not charge fees or bombard you with advertising.
There are no queues and are very prompt at gathering any information you need. They are generous donators to charities and deserve a wonderful rap. I have only ever had a pleasant experience with them and I wish them every success as a business.
