I am a qualified and experienced female High School English and History teacher looking for tutoring work in Sydney's North Shore.

My qualifications include:
- A Bachelor of Arts (University of Sydney) specialising in English Literature and Ancient History
- A Masters of Secondary Teaching (University of Sydney) in English and History
- I am qualified as a High School Teacher with the NSW Board of Education, including the Working With Children Safety Check
- I have a First Aid Training Certificate
- Previous experience working with schools including Asquith Boys, Ascham Girls, Killara High and Ryde Secondary College
- Volunteer work with St Lucy's Wahroonga, working with students with learning difficulties and special needs
- Equipped with teaching resources targeting a range of subject areas

I have experience teaching and tutoring children of all ages and cater my teaching methods to suit all abilities. I am patient and considerate of the aims and learning needs of all my students, and work towards improving not only student results but overall critical thinking skills. I specialise in high school English and History, and have experience both teaching and tutoring HSC students, including Extension subjects. Proven results - Band 6 (mark of more than 90%) Advanced English HSC student, graduating class of 2013.
