After paying the deposit and waiting for the blinds I started to wonder and read a few review's, by this time there was nothing i could do. I had my appointment booked, Joel and his helper came and installed the blinds on the day... On time and I'm very very happy with them.... No issues at all I've had 3 blinds and considering getting some more, very friendly and efficient service, thank you. Good value too!
Very disappointed with this company
I received a quote from Joel the owner last year. His quote was a fair bit cheaper than his competitors so we wanted to check out his product. We went to his showroom and had a look at his product which seemed comparable to other companies and he seemed nice to deal with. I did ask him for a breakdown of prices as per window to double check, but he said that he quotes on the total square meters of the windows. Would never recommend this company to anyone!! I had found this company online and contacted the director. The director came to my property, measured up some windows for new roller blinds and plantation shutters and submitted his quote. I found the director to be really nice and his quote to be very competitive. I gave the director the go ahead and he said it would be approximately 4 to 5 weeks before my blinds were ready. 8 weeks on I have not been contact, tried calling several times with no answer. I thought I would then try to call from a friends phone and found that my call was answered. I asked why I was being ignored and was told that he was overseas and that my blinds would not be ready until mid-January in the new year (a further 10 weeks away). I was not happy but said that I would wait as I was not moving in the home for a few more weeks. Hi TNGTNG, Joel, the director never sent me any details to pay a deposit so I didn't pay one. I asked so many times to send me payment details but nothing. I also called him so many time as he would never pick up the phone with a number he recognised so I always had to call him on different numbers.
After reading other reviews I think he also quoted my job incorrectly and that's why he didn't want to answer my calls or send me any details to pay a deposit.
Tracy from Quality plus, The job was quoted and confirmed in a text message with Joel. He never sent any details despite asking several times. Also I wrote this review over 2 months ago and you are only replying to it now. This goes to show that you have no idea about any lead time.
I recommend people steer clear of this company if they want to get blinds installed when promised and at the price it was originally quoted!!!
