Quay Bar

This is an open air bar located on the southern side the the Circular Quay railway station and it seems to be always open (though I'm sure it closes down around 1:00 when pubs aren't supposed to let anybody else in). I've been here a couple of times, once about a year ago in the morning to grab a coffee (since it was too early for alcohol) and more recently just after my visit to the observatory. Due to the new smoking regulations they have made the entire bar a non-smoking venue (even though I couldn't see where they made their food, but it could be in the old customs house). The problem with this bar is that since it is open to the elements, it can get quite chilly (and possibly wet as well). It's not a bad place, but there are other open air bars that I prefer.

Located outside Customs House, I love the outdoor area of this far. The soft glow from the fairy lights create a magical atmosphere.
Its very busy for after work drinks, so go early.
Food is decent, and theres a good selection of drink too.

The food is yummy and the alcohol selection is good but it is way over priced..possibly because I went during vivid. I wouldn't want to be spending my money there again.

A good place for social drink.
