I had a bit of a problem with ants, but that was only as of the floods, these appts were hit and everything else was immaculate and the staff I cannot praise the manager enough. They sent me a bottle of MOET and cheese platter AND flowers for my Bday, How personalised can you get! Will be back, beautiful people!
I've stayed at some noisy hotels before but this one takes the cake. The traffic noise from the street (all the rooms face busy Alice Street) is incredible. At first I thought the window was open but it wasn't, Then I checked the seals on the windows to ensure they were all there as I couldn't believe the amount of traffic noise in the room - no problem here. I called reception to complain and be moved but they informed me all the rooms face this street and they were fully booked. Everything else works in this hotel, nice welcome, staff, amenities, breakfast etc. But whoever did the acostic testing of the bedrooms (i'm guessing none was ever done) needs a good talking to..... Even if you are a heavy sleeper I'd avoid this one. And light sleepers be notified.
