Queen Victoria Building (QVB)

If you happen to be in sydney, the visit to QVB is a must. The building has so much london-ness and englishness to its. Amazing architecture, and some amazing cafes!

A place not to be missed!

This building is one of the great Sydney icons. It is architecturally significant - I have seen it from many vantage points and can attest to that personally.

It is filled with high quality high end stores and is just a great browsing experience. There are also a myriad of good dining options. Best of all it is linked directly to town hall station via underground tunnels.

QVB is simply beautiful. I love shopping here. Many great fashion shops. Nice cafés and restaurants and right near the station. The bathrooms on level 5 are stunning too.

What a beautiful place to go at Christmas. I couldn't fault the Santa Christmas photo staff and we had a beautiful meal in the Cicchetti Cafe with excellent service.

This building is definitely one of the Grand Old Ladies of Sydney's architecture.
This stunning set of shops houses a gorgeous tea room and great boutiques and is always worth browsing through when in town.
I've found lovely opal souvenirs for international friends and love checking in at a couple of my favourite dress shops when I'm in town.
The tree on display at Xmas time is enormous and spectacular and worth checking out for the amazing lights.
