Queensberry Hotel

My friend had a birthday here and it was actually really good bc there are lots of different spaces which guests can mingle in. It's relaxed pub atmosphere and well located to suit uni students. The staff are great, but the food could be better. I love the fact that there is an outdoor heated area with a pool table which is good fun when you can get a chance to play and if the area isn't booked out.

Quite nice pub with decent food and affordable prices

All I can say is that I really like this pub, and have done so since I first ever set foot in this place (though maybe it had something to do with watching my football team give the opposing team a real run for their money that day). Anyway, it has a pretty cool interior, and a really nice beer garden out the back that even on Friday nights still has a couple to tables free. They even have an undercover area where there is a pool table, which does mean that you do get the smokers at the table. I guess the one thing I really liked was that first day here I discovered one of those old arcade machines in the corner which I suddenly had a urge to play. Ever since that first day I have made my way back on occasions, and since it isn't too far away from the city, no doubt will do so again.
