Well if you like ships then you are going to love this place because there is one huge river destroyer sitting in the dry dock (and a few other boats scattered around as well). This used to be the old dry dock where they would build ships, however it fell into disuse when they built the Pacific Motorway bridge over the Brisbane River (which meant that the ships couldn't fit underneath it). They have a collection of boats of all sizes from dingys to a full blown destroyer. They also have Jessica Watson's Yacht on display, and boat floating on the river called the Forceful. However, it is the destroyer that probably draws the crowds because you can get into almost every nook and cranny in that ship. Okay, I'm not much of a boat person myself, but I did think it was pretty cool climbing through the cramped halls and rooms. I'm sure if you ask them nice enough they might even let you film a You-Tube action movie in there.
