SECURITY TRAINING
The Security industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the world.
Queensland Security Providers has been actively providing security training since the introduction of the Security Providers Act 1993 which required training to be undertaken prior to receiving a security licence.
The Security Industry requires a very wide range of skills and we believe that every-one has a particular skill or quality to offer the industry.

SECURITY LICENSING THE PROCESS
Undertake the required training.
Receive certification that you have completed the required training as required for the Security Licence.
Apply for a (security provider�s licence) with the Office of Fair Trading.
(This is done by providing a Licence Application Form, Proof of the Training undertaken and some various identity documents).
A standard licence application can take up to six (6) weeks to process.
Your licence will be mailed to you.
You cannot begin work until you have received your licence

GAINING EMPLOYMENT
Too assist in your steps forward to become a fully employed security officer / crowd controller, Queensland Security Providers offers all students to provide a Resume, Copy of their Training Certificate and a copy of their Security Licence (front and Back) and we will send a copy of your information to ten local security firms in Cairns who continually welcome new guards into the security industry.
