Qld Spit Roast Catering has a very good website, so we were looking forward to a good Aussie BBQ lunch. We were hugely disappointed to be served such low quality food when we were celebrating an important occasion. There was very little food, especially the salads, which is just as well because they were awful. I didnt dare have the potato salad, which looked like canned diced potato with only slimy looking mayo and red onion in it. The lettuce in the garden salad were turning brown. The Greek salad was actually a garden salad with bits of black olives and fetta crumbs thrown on top. The coleslaw was slimy it just wasnt pleasant at all. The meat was ok, but its not hard to go wrong with sausages, sandwich steaks and rissoles. Each person was only allowed one sandwich steak and one sausage or rissole. We over-catered hence people were allowed to have seconds. Most just went for the sausages and no one touched the salads again. We just threw the left-over salads out.
