Quicksilver Cafe 28 Cooly
Always find the staff friendly and helpful and the new coffee is great too. Haven’t had a disappointing experience there yet. I find $8-10 for coffee and a bacon and egg roll great value as are their açai bowls and avocado smash. Will be back for many more relaxed dining experiences!
Not particularly impressed with the service or quality of food. Strolling around Cooly looking for an early lunch we came across this cafe - it looked reasonably busy and the menu, although quite small, sounded delicious.
We ordered a fresh juice and burger each - although staff seem pretty uninterested in actually serving as it seemed we were interrupting their social life.
Burgers were pretty quick to come out however for the price the size was a little disappointing (as well as being served with potato crisps). Finishing our meals and we wee still waiting on our juices. My husband approached the counter and was told that the staff member who we placed our order with had gone on lunch and 'forgot' to tell any other staff member our juice order?!
Our juices were then delivered to our table however no apology was ever offered, just a very lame excuse. With so many options of cafe along the marine pde strip I think next time we'll be taking a different one.
Service here was incredibly slow and very pricey! $17 for two small soy chai lattes and 2 protein balls.
The food was given to us immediately but we had to wait half an hour for the cuppas which were lukewarm when they arrived and sickly sweet as they'd been made on syrup.
I had an appointment to head to by this stage and had to down it quickly before running off.
The cafe is at the front of a surf shop and must on occasion have live music too.
Fantastic location opposite the beach.
Disappointing visit for me tho.
