DO NOT buy a car from this yard, the experience I had was nothing short of appalling. I was helping my daughter buy her 1st car, and knowing nothing about cars I asked for a mechanical check to be done and the sale to be subject to a satisfactory report. The mechanical check was not satisfactory, and upon my return & explanation as to what was wrong with the car, both the used car salesman Dean & his colleague Rick became very hostile and aggressive towads me. Dean then rang my mechanic and hurled a barrage of verbal abuse in his direction, when all he was doing was his job and saving me from buying a lemon. It took many phone calls and almost 2 weeks before I finally got a refund for the deposit paid. It was a horrible experience and not one I would like anyone else to go through. There are heaps of dealers at Car City Ringwood, give RAP Car Sales a wide berth. A disgusting way to treat anyone
Absolutely disgusting behaviour, unprofessional - they have a cooling off period of 3 days but their broker takes 3 days to get back to you. Untrustworthy and total con artists for a couple hundred dollars - first and last experience with second hand car dealers, so disappointing. Please make sure u read the contract before u sign anything or pay anything to these liars.
I recently brought my car from Rick (the owner I think), he was great as I don't know a lot about cars he patiently sat down and went through everything with me and wasn't pushy for the sale (as other dealers in car city were). He even threw in a full tank of petrol for me. I haven't had any problems with my car and my friends have also since brought from RAP car sales and have the same great service. I also wouldn't go anywhere else in future!
DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THERE!. I have had an ongoing problem and the management, has been horrible from day one. I have had 3 other mechanics identify a problem that was there and it should not have passed a road worthy. They just yell and swear at you when you take the car back. DO NOT buy a car from there unless you want to be out of pocket big time for fixing it up. PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE! If i could give no stars I would!
