I took my car in to the Myaree Service Centre on Monday 2 February for a diagnostic and on the Saturday 7 February your mechanics said it was all fixed, I paid my $400 and drove off.
On Wednesday 11 February my car's temperature was very high and it was still leaking fluid, I called the Myaree Service Centre and they said they couldn't look at it until Saturday 14 February. This was unacceptable from the beginning. My car should've been a priority as it was their mechanics that didn't do their job which I had already paid for. I must commend RAC Auto Services on their immediate response to my earlier complaint re service they had provided. The Acting Manager, who had unfortunately been on sick leave during the week of my car problems, contacted me first thing the morning he was back and on hearing my story, promptly followed up with his staff and as a gesture of goodwill, offered me a refund of my labour costs with a full apology. I must commend him for this as so often one never hears another word from a service provider and that would have been such an easy road for him to follow. He was quick to get to the cause of the problem and has taken immediate action to make sure the situation does not arise again, not only for myself but other customers, and for this I sincerely thank him. One cannot ask for more as my car has the new parts installed now and the vehicle had been returned to a branch close to me in the northern suburbs. Thank you so much.
