The best customer service we have experienced in a very long time. Called for a quote for 2 cars and ended up giving them our home and contents insurance too. The lady spent about half an hour with us on the phone, very thorough and friendly. Let's hope it's the same case if we need to claim.

Had full comprehensive cover for two vehicles, home and contents and gold cover roadside assist for a number of years. RACV is indeed a great motoring service and insurance agent but after nearly 30 years of largely claim-free membership I shopped around for quotes when I needed to add a dependent (<21) driver. I suggest others do their due diligence for insurance.

RACV insurance has all the aspects of insurance but minus all the hassles! Excellent customer service, useful customer rewards like Show N Save, multi policy and years of membership discounts. Retail outlets stock maps/navigation, 1st aid and travel equipment and staff are always more than willing to provide travel and other membership information and advice. Linked to interstate auto clubs, going over the border isn't a problem with joint clubs making you feel like a member. After a recent prang i was given useful advice in a calm manner, my claim was handled promptly and I was given regular updates and informed of anything else needed by staff who introduced themselves warmly, a massive help to know who to refer back to incase of any issue. The reassurance from a competent team meant I could relax knowing things were being taken care of. RACV, the kind of service you pay insurance for.
