Raffael's Bakery

Nice selection of breads, savouries and sweet things at this little bakery, with the odd, quirky animal shaped bread roll making an appearance. The pizzas make a perfect quick, tasty snack.

Always such a delight upon entering this bakery, i get the feeling it is family owned and operated as each person seems to genuinely want to make you happy, something you don't always get in the bakery chains. Now, onto the food. I was on a mission to get my daughter a jam donut today, as she's studying for her HSC. When i arrived, it turns out I was too early, the donuts had not yet been injected with the jam. However they were happy to solve the problem if I was ok to wait a few minutes. This proves how fresh the donuts are, and they did the job and my daughter says "thank you" . I also picked up an excellent ciabatta and also a lovely bread covered in potato slices and herbs, looked fab when I gave it to my friend that hosted lunch. Very fair prices and top quality, you can't fault this place. Happy!

Open in the early morning, which is great for stopping off before work. The bread is always fresh and yummy. They also do a selection of sweet snacks and small pizzas and arancini. Traditional and always satisfying.
