Another pretty awesome grunge bar, but there seem to be quite a few of them around Melbourne, especially since the Espy is currently undergoing renovations for, well, an indefinite period. When I passed by here it was actually pretty quiet, but that was probably because everybody was exhausted from the night before (though I am only speculating about that). However, the pub itself is pretty large, with a dedicated band room, and also some outdoor areas. The staff are pretty cool, and the atmosphere is, well, grungy, but then again what are you going to expect from a place this this. However, I have to give it a thumbs up, even though at times they do throw in a cover charge.
