Rain Modern Asian Bistro

I heard the rain is the favourite Thai in Sa. So I went to there before. The food is amazing! I order the pork belly and green lobsters tails. They are very yummy! And the staff always keep the smile in their face. Good service!

DHad dinner at rain last night and the food was delicious! I loved the soft shell crab and tea duck. Also the thai curries tasted just like the ones I've had in Thailand. I really like the atmosphere of the restaurant and the staff were all so friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes tasty authentic thai food!

A disappointing trip all around to this place, mostly related to the service.



When served our first round of drinks, the wine served was wrong, the beer was served without glasses, and the water we requested never turned up at all. what can i say! great range of Asian food, plenty of choices, and the service was great.
one thing that was excellent was it offered gluten free dishes which my wife loved as she is gluten intolerant. Fantastic!!!

The welcoming atmosphere in this trendy restaurant that comes from the staff and in particular the owner Denise is lovely. This goes hand in hand with amazing food and prompt service. I would compare this restaurant as the Asian equivalent of walking into a restaurant in Italy - its the people and quality of food that makes eating out an enjoyable experience. :)
