Raising the Bar

My kids still laugh at me for my less than fabulous computer skills. I was trying to make my CV look better, as I was educated in the Dark Ages, and I graduated from uni when the only computer I ever touched was to find a library book, or to write my thesis ( for word processing only). Raise the Bar to the rescue! I did a course in Microsoft Word, just a one day course.. it's a well-organised place and the girl who took the group was good and she was cheerful and that made it pleasant. We had sufficient rest breaks to take it all in, we each had our own computer and I got a certificate to show that I've completed a course....so, I'm thankful for this...now I just need my millennial children to stop laughing at me, I am better with computers now, thanks to RYB, and as I like to remind my kids, i may not be quite as fast on the computer as them, but they can not, will not, ever be able to sew/knit/embroider like their mother, ba ha ha.
