This place offers luxurious japanese food, for rather reasonable prices. Alcohol here is superb for every type of alcohol drinker. The food recommended here is the Ramen (of course) as the broth is super thick and full of collagen and the ramen is high quality. Staff maybe busy due to their working styles but always friendly. The boss, (the one making the sushi and sashimi behind the counter) would chat with customers so very often, or when he is not busy. Sashimi here is fresh, and the diversity of seafood is rather remarkable.
I finally tried the Ramen here at Himeji. The flavors were great, broth well-made and noodles were nicely done. Not sure if they make their noodles from scratch or what but they were good. The sizing was generous, for me I couldn't finish it all and was very filling, but very much enjoyed the meal. It was nicely priced also. The staff and service was quick for a weekday lunch too.
I have walked pass this place a few times and have been wanting to come in and try their Ramen. I haven't yet tried, but certainly will. I did come in for a quick lunch feed though as I was craving karaage and oh how much I enjoyed their karaage! Delicious and hit the craving spot !! Definitely will be back for more karaage and ramen! :D
I have come back many a time for their ramen and introduced others. I've tried their original, their black sesame and their spicy ramen. You can't fault the quality of the noodles and the intensity and depth of the broth. The proteins are always tender. One day I will try something from their extensive menu (which all look delicious).
I was cheerily greeted as i walked in the door, seated at the bar and immediately offered water. My order was taken quickly and arrived quickly. I had the original hakata tonkotsu ramen - from my first mouthful I could taste the love in this broth! Delicious. The pork belly melted in my mouth and the pork loin was tasty. The noodles were cooked perfectly. I initially thought that the size was small (I ordered a large) however, I was completely satisfied afterwards.
