Ranford Primary is located in the south east metropolitan area of Canning Vale.

Opening in 1999 with 282 students ranging from Kindergarten to Year 7, the school grew rapidly in its first three years and after the opening of another school in the area, growth has been gradual over the last three years with a relatively stable population at present of approximately 690 students.

The school has well maintained buildings and grounds with additional shared community facilities.

The air-cooled buildings include four teaching blocks, Administration, Library Resource Centre, Undercover Area and also specialist Music and Visual Arts rooms.

Up to date technology ensures wireless access throughout the school, digital cameras in all classrooms and student access to a wide range of technology including banks of laptops.

Technology is embedded in the teaching/learning program and developed as a tool for learning.
