Absolute rip off, will never go back. Told one thing was wrong, when the part was put found out it was not that. They said they have correctly diagnosed the problem but you will need to pay for the part so we can order it, $700, once put in found out it was not that either, NO REFUND. They offered a small refund after I said I will go somewhere else, still $1000 out of pocket and the car was worse off then when I took it in. Went somewhere else and problem found and it only cost $800 to get fixed. Ranger Auto have no idea what they are doing, more interested in taking peoples money then fixing your car. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

We apologise that we could not rectify your vehicle in your time frame. Unfortunately with diagnostic work, sometimes more time and information required. We did explain to you, and get your OK, before we purchased the second hand part, that you could not return the part as our supplier had to source the part from over east. If we had known that our temporary fix had stopped working for you straight away, we may have been able to cancel the order and refund you. Once again we apologise for your experience, we are disappointed we could not rectify your issues. we are happy that you got your vehicle sorted in the end.

Well if you were interested in helping a customer you would not say that you correctly diagnose a problem, make a customer pay $700 upfront, the normal is pay for work at the end once the job is done, never had I ever had to pay upfront at any mechanic, and then find it is not the problem and the car has more not working then when brought in, it is your job, not mine. And to say to me you can charge what you want as it is your buisness shows that you are only worried about making people pay. If you were in the buisness of keeping customers happy then you have gone about it the wrong way. Offer is still open to refund the money for the stereo that was NOT the problem. I will keep giving bad reviews as I don't believe you have done the right thing, and I tell people if they need auto electrics fixed on there vehicle do not come to you.

Once again we apologise for your experience. The reason you were made to pay upfront is because you wanted to remove the vehicle from our premises while we were waiting for the part to come in. I know for a fact that this is common practise and stand by our decision to do this. We are glad you found a resolve for the vehicle in the end and can now move on.

I took my 4WD and my caravan to Ranger Auto Electrics to have a camera fitted on vehicle and caravan, new electrical fittings from caravan/vehicle, brake assist for same. The workmanship can not be faulted.
It is very important for me to have a very reliable company to do what ever I need doing to vehicle, caravan trailer, air conditioning etc., especially if you are on your own.
I asked to have my caravan looked over for any other problems too, as the last thing I needed was a problem while travelling.
Thank goodness I did this as water heater coil thingy needed replacing. Lights are all sorted, had backing lights put on van (they are such a help for night backing).
The service is excellent, price was good too. Great to come across a friendly working environment to go with good workmanship. Thank you for suggestions that certainly help me on my travels.
I highly recommend this Company to anyone.

!!!!!!STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

Terrible service and reception. Still charged me after bad workmanship on my vehicle, they want me to bring back my car and look at it again so they could find the exact problem because they didn't fix it the first time and they would not tell me they would charge me extra so that they could see for another problem money.
