Maka is a legend. He laid new floors in our old house where there were challenges left right and centre. Maka removed the old flooring and fixed several support and level issues. He had to lay the new boards on joists in the old section of the house and directly on chipboard in an extension. The boards flow from one surface to the next and you would never know. Maka also had to deal with only one wall in our house being straight! Maka's skills and quality workmanship made our floors look straight as! Could not recommend Maka enough. Professional, skilled and so easy to deal with. Best experience we have ever had with a tradesman. 10 out of 10.

Maka was the best. From quote..on time, knew his stuff, and friendly, and competitive price..through to finished job. Our floor looks AMAZING. We had a water damaged patch of original flooring. Maka sourced some identical tasmanian oak of the same era and size to perfectly match - which would not have been easy- and installed it, sanded and polished. It blends so perfectly, nobody would ever know it's been replaced. I am so very happy and cannot recommend Maka highly enough.

I am so happy with the job just completed by Maka. He took his time to explain the whole process in detail, then came out to pull up our old carpet and do some direct stain samples on our boards so we could decide which colour to use. After doing 10 samples on our boards we ended up going for black Japan and we are thrilled with the result!
Maka was a total professional throughout the entire process from quote to completion and promptly returned all emails and phone calls. Nothing was too hard for Maka. His easy-going and friendly nature was a welcome change from the tradies and builders we've dealt with in the past. I have no hesitation in recommending his work.
