I have a comment about this business......I had some work done on my home and was told when given the quote that if I paid cash I wouldn't have to pay the GST so I did this. Naturally, this voided any guarantee for the work which I accepted.
Amongst other things, I had a new front door installed and painted but there is paint on the wrought iron that surrounds the glass lead light so I just called the owner to ask what was best to use to remove it. I did not expect him to come to rectify this, I just wanted some advice.......his reply was......."oh you are the lady that didn't pay the GST on the account so we won't be doing anything about it, good luck", then he put the phone down. It was not my suggestion to not pay the GST and for the money I did pay, I would have thought asking for a little advice wasn't expecting too much.
