During the holidays, I visited Auburn Reading Cinemas to watch the Karate Kid, with my mother, brother and sister.
Unfortunately, the whole cinema experience was a really dissatisfactory one. We were disappointed with the poor customer service when we were served, our popcorn was given to us cold and stale, and the carpet inside the actual theatre was sticky against our shoes, feeling like either there had been multiple drink-spills or it was covered in old gum.
Really unfortunate, considering this is our local theatre and one weve been going to for years, and would really appreciate a refund of our tickets.
Will most likely be travelling to either Burwood or Parramatta to see our next film.
I love coming to the cinema to catch a movie, it's never crowded, is always clean and tidy and the staff are always helpful and polite. All the theaters I have been in are comfy, and, although I haven't tried it yet, they have a gold class cinema as well. For now, the only thing lacking is 3D facilities, but, hopefully at some stage they will open a theatre that can screen the new 3D movies. Be sure to grab a choc-top ice cream!!!
It is never crowded which is a great thing, it has a Gold Class feeling to it, the seats and cinemas are wide and complex which makes it comfortable for a great movie experience.
The service is always attentive and friendly.
Only problem is that prices are too expensive especially getting coke and popcorn. It would have drawn alot more customers if they put the prices down and more reasonable.
But other than that, I am a regular customer of Reading Cinemas.
