My husband and I recently purchased an apartment in Glebe sold by Roberto owner of Realistic Real Estate. Purchasing this property we had a few up and downs to say the least. Roberto's help and assistance was immeasurable. He is such a kind, patient and caring person and really got the vendor involved and we all worked as a team to get the sale across the line. The vendor actually called me to say, as a vendor, how happy she was and my husband and I felt exactly the same way! Roberto was amazing!!
Roberto also helped us the rent the property and the tenant moved in all within two weeks.
I would defintely recommend Roberto and his team. I experienced nothing except professionalism in both in us purchasing and us getting Roberto to rent the property. I wish Roberto all the very best.
If I could leave a ZERO star review I would. This agency was managing a property of mine, and despite a management agreement that clearly specified the leasing period to be 12 months or longer, they signed a lease for only 6 months. After 6 months, the tenant vacated the property, and I was slugged with both the cost of having the property vacant for a month, plus advertising and letting fees all over again. The two agents I dealt with were absolutely hopeless in answering the phone that they placed on the ad; and when I asked what compensation they would offer for the significant costs that their mistake had represented, they shrugged their shoulders and did not offer a thing. In the end, they engaged ANOTHER agent (without my approval) and I had to pay double the advertising fees due to this subcontracting arrangement. We granted you 6 months free management at the time your personal situation changed and we also answered your complaints with the fair trading. We never received a further reply from you but if you have any further concerns we would be happy to help.
We're not sure who you are, being anonymous, but we may have an idea on who you are as we've only had (in our last 15 years) an incident unique like yours and if you are who we believe you may be we did offer you a further 3 months management for free.
We always try to help and satisfy our clients as best as we can with what we have and what the market permits.
I highly recommend this agency for anyone who doesnt need working appliances such as ovens and toilets, anyone who enjoys the ceiling caving in on them in bed and then discovering the emergency number is a closed office line and having to sleep on the couch while your bed is rained on, and anyone who wants to be threatened with eviction for asking for compensation for their rights being violated!
Oh and anyone who is happy to have the rent jacked up after 7 months and the agency tell you in the same letter that the market actually hasnt changed and the place is still worth the same as when you moved in but theyre charging you more anyway and tell you you should be thankful that they didnt put it up at 6 ...read more
