Went here to look at some football boots and no one ever served me or asked me if i was ok. The staff they had on where really lazy and just standing at the front of the store talking. i was not the only one waiting to be served there where many customs waiting but ended up leave as the werent being served either.
The store seems to always be under staffed
Whilst this is one of the largest stores in the Westfield complex it is only moderately sized for a Rebel. Staff receive some incentive for every item purchased that they manage to tag with their identifying sticker. This makes for eager service, but don't expect expert advice. When it's busy it's hard to find someone to help, but they try to cater to self-service as much as possible. For example shoes of various sizes are stacked for customers to try and buy. Good for sales, good for browsing and an excellent returns policy. Just don't visit with very specialist requirements.

We are a very big store and are one of the biggest rebels. We have a great range and there is most certainly expert staff throughout the departments. Where did you feel that we didn't have expertise? Thank you for your feedback. I have since revisited the Chatswood store as well as the Hornsby and Macquarie stores. I initially thought these two were larger than the Chatswood stores and have been doubting my size-evaluation following your comment. You are correct, the Chatswood store is large, I do however believe is 'feels' smaller because it is long and thin with 'isles' coming off the side. cant recall) couldnt properly speak to the pros and cons of alternatives. I thought the assistant was helpful, I just didnt think the very specialised product knowledge was there.
Overall I am very happy with the Rebel value proposition. I enjoy going to one stores and being able to buy most of my sporting requirments. This is reflected in my high star rating.
Really good service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The assistant I spoke to was really helpful right from my phone inquiry to the moment I needed advise at the store. Thumbs up!

Hi Gareth, if my memory serves correctly, it was Brendon from foot ware department who helped my 11-yo daughter with her purchase. My daughter and I were really pleased with the outcome. Cheers.
