Just spent 20 minutes attempting to open the twist top on Harpic White and Shine using every tool in the house, eventually resorting to using a knife and modifying the twist after being successful.
i realise that this product needs to have a safety cap but this one is too difficult even for the strongest hands - and there are many in this house, all who tried following the instructions. won't buy this product again.
Neither my wife nor I have been able to open the RB Harpic product. We have followed the instructions carefully but have not the strength to twist the cap. Even after returning the Harpic to the Supermarket the manager has had difficulty opening the container as well. I suspect there are many elderly customers that have the same problem. Last year I purchased Mortein DIY Professional to spray around my house but, unfortunately the sprayer didn't work.
This year I thought I'd give them another try and bought the same product again. Guess what!!

I'm unable to contact this company to complain but there is no contact info other than a telephone number. This product costs $30.00!! 60 bucks down the drain. Never again.
I have using salvo and brass products for years and have always been very impressed with the results. Since the product is now made in Indonesia rather than Europe I find the new bottle design to be poorly thought out, and the smell of the product to be much more potent and offensive, (possibly due to the new added ingredient of liquid hydrocarbons). Time to find a replacement product I think.
Unfortunately I agree. It is not worth wasting your money on now. It used to be such an effective cleaning product. Now it is purely an ineffective liquid that cleans nothing!!! I just wish I had not thrown my old tin away thinking that it was far too old. That product WORKED!
I have been a user of Savlon Antiseptic Cream for a very long time, but have noticed the last couple of tubes are more like an oozing mixture than a cream, i thought maybe the tube i had was a bit old so bought a new one but was disappointed to find it was not the firm cream texture that it used to be,i will have to find another brand to use which, after so many years, is a bit sad
