We got Red Dog to do a custom canvas using some historical images of Annandale that we had and Red Dog had. I thought it was quite reasonably priced for a custom canvas. I did up a possible layout, and Greg came back with some other layouts which were better than what I had, and I selected one of those. We were very happy with the end product.
We did notice some small bubbles in some parts of the canvas about 8 months later, which I believe is very rare. I took it back to them, and they made up a brand new canvas for us at no extra cost!
Anyway, we 're very happy with the style and feel of their design that I haven't come across elsewhere.

Our custom canvas was a disaster from the start. The canvas was bowed, the pictures bubbled (so I guess not that rare) and they did not distress the canvas as we had requested.
When we contacted them complaining about the poor state of our canvas - Greg took it, kept it for a week, distressed it a little more for us and returned as bowed as it was to begin with. His solution was to stick doubled sided tape to the back of it and stick the bowed left side to the wall, as you can imagine this solution lasted all of five minutes.
We paid $800 for this canvas and at no point did they offer to redo this canvas for us.
Greg's surly attitude was not appreciated either.
We asked Red Dog design to create a custom.1.2m x 1.2m suburb square for us. We obviously assumed that if they couldn't do this they would tell us it wasn't possible. So when they accepted our order we assumed we would be getting a single 1.2m x1.2m canvas. what we got however, was two separate canvases joined together. This resulted in a warped canvas that doesn't sit flush to the wall and juts out in one corner. So no, we didn't have a great experience with reddogdesign, we have always felt they could have dealt with our situation better.
I will say however, that when we recently approached them and voiced our continued dissatisfaction with our canvas, they kindly refunded the purchase price.
I wish our experience had been better as we had seen their work elsewhere, really liked it & this is what prompted us to approach them for a custom canvas.
Hopefully, what happened with us was just a one off.
