Beautiful location by the Yarra, great, delicious food, good wine selection, and polite&nice service. Prices match the food and service and would recommend it to anyone.

Fantiastic food, great service and an excellent location! You cannot go wrong with the Red Emperor in Southbank! I've been twice in the last couple of month's and it continues to give great results! The banquet is fantastic, the food comes out perfectly! Highly recommend!

Lovely place along the Yarra, excellent view and location, decor and space was great as well, and the staff authentic and attentive.. I think this is what you are really paying for though. A group of us came here for Yumcha Saturday, and although it was very appetizing, its like what I could taste back home in Adelaide China Town. It is a lovely place though, we went back the next day because we were craving for the wonton noodle soup that we had a friend order the day before and looked delicious, unfortunately when we had it, it was not all that, but the soup was tasty. My friend ordered the San Choy Bao and she said it was really nice, the serving was very generous too.
All in all I think Id come back again if I was in Melbourne and along the Yarra feeling like some Authentic Chinese Food, but Id make sure Id have the funds without breaking the piggybank for a dish of Lemon Chicken... it all is quite pricey!

It want a quality Chinese restaurant in Melbourne this is definately one to try. Efficent service but he real highlight here is the peking duck and the beef in sizzling plumb sauce - so tender it just melted.

absolutely delicious, although the table arrangement when I last visited were a little crowded. The salt and pepper calamari is great, along with the spicy kangaroo fillet. Staff are courteous and our meals and drinks arrived relatively quickly. I would definitely go there again.
