Red Door Corner Store is a cool little spot hidden away from the main streets of Northcote, this small little cafe is full of character. Despite being very busy, staff were friendly and attentive. The coffee was excellent. I ordered the Dukkah Eggs; the dish was packed full of flavour and I would definitely recommend it. Like many hidden gems located in the outskirts of Melbourne, Red Door Corner Store is well worth the visit. Plenty of parking available nearby. For those on public transport, it's about a ten minute walk from High Street.
This is my local weekend breakfast haunt. The coffee is consistenly good, all the food is made on premise and with traditional menu favorites like the home made crumpets wth orange syrup offset against the breakfast burrito or the breakfast tart the menu is varied enough to accomodate the post Friday/ Saturday night hangover or the lazy brunch.
