HOW TERRIBLE, DICED VEGETABLES AS A SIDE DISH! Mushy, Mushy vegetables were served with our rump steak at the Club Steak House. The steak was great, but unfortunately I couldn’t tell what vegetables I had next to it. It was cubes of yellow and white with a green slimy thing on top, I think it was zucchini, it was yucky.
Nice steak, but I want to know what I am eating, is it carrots, corn, I just like fresh vegetables, not unrecognisable food.
For 2 years you have had a 5 star rating from myself and family, but now I can only give you a 1 star.
Seems as if there is a new Chef in town, and he needs to get with it and not be lazy and think of Jamie Oliver or Gordon Ramsay, fresh and recognisable food is the best, diced vegetable are suitable for stews etc. Good Luck, I don’t know when I will be back.
This is a fantastic place! We truly enjoyed our dinner in the buffet restaurant. There is a good variety of food and quite many to choose from; good selection of cooked meat (beef & chicken), pasta, Asian, curries, salad, chips, bread, soup, fried food, seafood and of course dessert! The price is reasonable for $28 something per adult and $16 for a child below 12 yrs old (every Saturday night) and it's cheaper during weekdays/nights. Members can get discount for weekdays/nights dining. The food is delicious and to my honest opinion, it's much much better than other club buffet we've been to. Good food portions, not wasteful. They always refill and someone attends to refilling the food trays. So you never get hungry or missing something. The buffet restaurant manager is very friendly and so is his staff. They were attentive and smiling all the time. They attended our table, clearing all used plates and emptying the scrap bowl from time to time and placed new bowls ...read more
