Regals Rendezvous Restaurant

Fantastic - how dinning used to be. I don't often get entrees but can't resist at Regal. The food is terrific. Some places it does not matter what you order it all tastes the same, but at Regal it's all great food with individual flavors. The other thing I like is that you are not rushed out the door, or on some kind of "sitting" timer. I would go there much more often if I thought my waistline could handle it !

Went to Regal's Rendezvous for lunch with a couple of friend's. Had a very warm welcoming sat us at the window to admire the beautiful garden views. Brought a bottle of water without asking straight to the table & poured us drinks. While we looked at wine list. We all ordered different main meals. Pork, salmon & steak all cooked to perfection. They were very accommodating were shared desert which they sat in the middle of table and gave us individual plates & cutlery. Then coffee to finish off. We sat there 3 hours with NO issues to complain about, had a very enjoyable experience. Thank you to the staff & chef. Will definitely return!!!

Not only was the service found wanting..... a main forgotten and then a desert forgotten!

But the gnocci dish was entre size and not edible..... it was basically mush.

The excuse they gave was that the new management were in transmission........... well transmission this NEVER AGAIN!!!

We were at Regals Rendezvous Restaurant on Sat night. When we read the menu we were very excited but when we received the food it was NOT exciting. We had 2 fish meals one salmon and one barramundi which was bordering on being off and another had baked lamb but it was nowhere near baked but steamed and sitting in a watery sauce. We ordered fettuccini as main for $24 and there was hardly any pasta in the bowl and it was hard to put on your fork and swishing around in some sort of fluid. Scallops were served cold and raw. You ought to be ashamed for an al a carte restaurant.

We moved to the area several months ago & have been meaning to try this restaurant... we finally went there for dinner & it was absolutely lovely. Lovely setting, delicious meal & the service was impeccable! Although they were very busy as someone was having an engagement party, the staff were still very polite, professional & attentive & we didn't have to wait long for a meal. My husband & I are looking forward to returning. I believe the name has since changed to "Annangrove Bar & Dining" from "Regals Rendezvous".
