Regent Hotel

Yep, this is another one of those really cool pubs that I discovered as I was making my way around some of Sydney’s suburbs. Actually, one of the good things about this place is that once the tram has started running then this place is going to be much more accessible than normally. While there is technically a smokers cage down one side, it is actually quite a nice outdoor area, and in a way it seems a shame to relegate it to the smokers. However, as suggested, this has a great feel about it, and there are also some awesome craft beers available as well.

The Rege, a local favourite and a regular haunt for anyone who attended UNSW. You go here to take over the jukebox and put on whatever you want, have drinks and play pool. Their food is your typical pub dinners but is really good and affordable. Karaokee on a Thursday is always a good laugh as it is quite a small place and everyone seems to get involved. Great place to let your hair down and not wake up broke.

Classic Aussie pub with a outside seating, bar and restaurant that has been refurbished. Empressive, and update menu with table service! A late night pit stop for many uni students, with a jukebox and $10 steak specials you can see why.
