The doctor I was meant to see was away so I was reviewed by a lovely registrar doctor, who bulk billed the consultation. She was very patient and kind and spent over an hour listening to me talk.
I have a complicated pain issue and have low expectations for doctors. Ive never had a doctor spend so much time on me. She is one of the good ones. I can not recommend highly enough.

I recently used RehabMx physiotherapy services, a regular 30min check on a back complaint. The physio was arrogant and argumentative. He introduced me to a 4th year physio student upon entry to the room and she just smiled, mumbled something and sat in the corner. At no point was I asked if I'd mind a student observing the consultation, which I wouldn't have, if I had been given the option. When I raised the question of whether or not the student would be sitting-in, the physio reacted strongly saying something about this is a private practice and it's not an issue. Again, not asking the question. I really wouldn't have minded, but it's simply good business and ethical practice to make your patients feel comfortable and safe. I'll be going elsewhere in future.
