WHAT IS REIKI
Reiki is a gentle form of energetic healing derived from Japan in which the Reiki practitioner transmits Universal Life Force Energy (Ki) through their hands for the purpose of healing. Reiki healing energy may be sent to a person, animal, place, relationship or other situation which you may feel needs healing.

BENEFITS
Reiki may assist in improving mental and physical well-being by bolstering the recipientâ??s life force energy at times when it may be low due to stress or illness. Low energy levels can leave our immune system weak and vulnerable. Benefits may include overall stress reduction, improved sleep and in some cases improvement of others symptoms. Reiki is not a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment but a wonderful and powerful compliment to assist in health management and recovery.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Reiki treatments are performed with the recipient clothed and either laying comfortably on a massage table or seated in a chair if preferred. The healing vibration can be transmitted either by light touch or with the hands just above the recipientâ??s body. The Reiki practitionerâ??s role is to facilitate an energy shift and to assist you in opening deeply to the possibility of healing occuring from within. During treatment, it is common for clients to fall into a deeply relaxing Reiki sleep and in some cases may experience an emotional release as old stored energy patterns are brought to light and removed.

PRACTITIONER
Jim is a Reiki practitioner in the Gendai Reiki Tradition. Originally opening to Reiki in 1996, he has experienced many wonderful benefits and blessings through attunement to the universal healing vibration which he enjoys sharing with others. Jim is also a Remedial Massage Therapist and continuing with his studies in Craniosacral Therapy and related healing modalities.
