I wouldn't recommended using this company, Melissa was great with coming out to property to give fixed price quote - Trucks arrived early which was good and the movers were fast to pack - although didn't handle owners property with any respect buy just packing things extremely tight and loose in the truck. Settlement wasn't due until 2.15 - at 2.30 when we arrived with the keys the trucks were already half unpacked with furniture on the driveway. Noticed something had fallen out of the truck and had just been scraped up and dumped in to loose boxes. We found a damaged stereo speaker hidden behind the BBQ hard up against the back of the shed. When enquiring the broken speaker they denied all responsibility for this, and said it was wrapped. Noted that the speaker wasn't wrapped when put in the truck and was just placed in to space in the truck. More like "Unreliable Moves"......absolutely shocking service.......don't know why I bothered wasting my time trying to contact them......last time I was wanting to use them I phoned and was told by the staff who answered that they would get back to me as soon as they got back to the office......they didn't......I spent the next week phoning daily and leaving several messages with absolutely no response......this time I foolishly elected to use them again because they have a "fixed price" facility and storage container facility.....someone came to my house last week to do a quote.....the move is tomorrow and still no quote....I phoned last week and the staff once again told me they were out and would send the quote as soon as they got back to the office.....low and behold no quote....since then I have been emailing and phoning daily.....have left several messages and not a single response......if they don't want to do your move, they should tell you up front rather than stuffing you ...read more
You contacted us on Thursday for a quote to move on Tuesday. We attended your house on the Friday and emailed a quotation that afternoon. You were emailed another copy as discussed in your phone call to us on Friday afternoon. That is twice now you received our quotation. I returned your one call that you made to our office on the Saturday and got your voicemail. I left a breakdown of our quotation and storage costs. I am sorry that you did not receive our email quotation, sometimes technology works in strange ways. I would suggest maybe check your junk items in your email. It's a bit harsh comment on a company when you haven't used their service through to the end. As you can see by our other reviews we offer excellent service and the fact we have been in business for over 20 years we have a good reputation. That's saying something!!!
Just a quick note to say that we were very impressed by the boys on Wednesday, the move went smoothly and was stress-free for us.
I'll definately recommend you guys to anyone I know that moves in the future. I loved your fixed price of $710.00. Mini Movers and others had quoted us $149.00 per hour for a truck and two men and said it would take up to 7 hours plus travel. You sent four men and they were gone in 3 and half hours. Thanks again Best move ever!!!!
The boys from Reliable Moves were fantastic! They arrived on time and did a great job of moving our belongings carefully and efficiently. The fixed price is just the beginning of their great service, and they're not afraid to do the little extras (and the big ones) to help their customers out. Do yourself a favour and use these guys for your next move - we will be! (They're a bit scared of snakes though!! :-D )
