Caution advised in tables of 6 or more. After bringing us the drinks and what we thought were appetisers, dishes simply began to appear with no explanation. On enquiry, we were informed that for tables of 6 or more, the set menu was mandatory. We were not told when booking, nor on arrival. When the bill came in, it was around $600, we asked for this to be itemised due to the bill shock, and noted things such as $44 dollars worth of sparkling water, meat plates priced more than $10 dollars above the quoted menu price. I've eaten at R&C several times, but given the lack of communication along with the extortionate billing, this will definitely be my last.
