One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. My partner and I submitted a tenancy application and were kept in the dark as to progress for over 3 weeks (after initially being promised that based on the strength of our application, approval would be a formality).
The junior property manager in charge of the property was remarkably unprofessional in his limited dealings with us. We repeatedly called and emailed him over a two week period and did not receive the courtesy of a response. My experience with this agency was very disappointing. The property manager for the property we were trying to rent was incompetent and failed to follow us up as to the progress of our application which we diligently submitted in advance together with all supporting documentation.
After numerous phone calls to the property manager which were always unanswered and rarely returned and follow up emails, we received a call from a staff member from Rendina "on behalf" of the property manager dealing with the property informing us that our application was unsuccessful. We didn't enjoy our rental home because Rendina made it so difficult from the beginning. When we had maintenance issues they were sarcastic and patronising (I will be polite enough as to not mention who the ladies were), and any contact was a nightmare because of their rudeness and tone. People shouldn't be treated in such a way by their agents. I'd rather they had rejected our application in the first place. I made complaints to 'those' in charge as their website suggests, and they completely rejected our concerns and feelings. I don't think "sorry" is even in their vocabulary. What happened to caring for the customer? They made us feel like we were completely delusional and making things up. I now know from reading these reviews that it's not only me feeling this way.
