I grew up swimming at this pool, I got the fitness I needed for my bronze medallion for life saving there. I must have clocked up over over 1,ooo hours at that pool as a kid. The grounds are well kept, the pool is well maintained, theres a good canteen, plenty of shady places to sit, a designated baby pool, and todler pool. The water slide is the best part, it's like a mini wet and wild. I stumbled across this page by mistake, I was shocked to see the review. It deserves more than 1 star it's a fantastic Olympic sizes swimming pool with all the trimmings. What more could people want?
took my disabled son out for his birthday, first icecream then the pool. arrived at the pool half an hour before opening time not expecting it to be closed till 11 am .. waiting in carpark with son for half an hour just out of sight of the main enterance. collect bags towels etc and very excited son to try to go in and find they put a notice up just out of our line of sight that it would be closed a further hour. we where in plain view the whole time. Thanks for ruining my sons special day.
