Working together: outstanding care and support for older people and their carers.Resthaven Community Respite Services support carers of frail older people who live in the southern and eastern metropolitan area. We offer short-term overnight and small group day respite for carers in a home style environment at Ridgeway House.
Our overnight community respite service at Ridgway House, 36 Sussex Terrace, Westbourne Park, is also available for carers living in country areas who need to visit town and are seeking city-based respite services.
Overnight community respite for carers of older people with low and high care needs may include small group respite care, support/counselling for carers. Fee for service in-home care and support is also available.
Ridgway House offers overnight respite for carers during weekdays. Each cosy room has an en-suite bathroom. Home cooked meals are included.
