Retro Club

I've been trying to hold off reviewing this place until such a time as I get to check out the nightclub specialising in 80s music, however it seems to keep on getting away from me. However this is one of my favourite pubs in walking distance from work, especially since the Kent closed down. It has three levels, a groundfloor bar, a nightclub on the second floor, and a rooftop bar which is pretty good (though there are much better views elsewhere, especially since there are some large walls around it – no doubt it used to be a room and the roof was removed. They have happy hours, but not for the craft beer range unfortunately. It does get pretty crowded on a Friday, but I've always found it a pretty cool place to have a quiet drink after work on other nights.

Too expensive, unfriendly staff, intimidating and incompetent security.

Great little club! Danced the night away here on the weekend for a girlfriends Hen's night. Drinks seemed to be priced reasonably. The music was fantastic! I am pretty sure that I knew just about every song that came on (again, showing my age!). Great to be able to dance to music you know, and sing along and not look silly :)
We arrived around 9.30pm and it was relatively quiet, but by 10.30 - 11pm there were plenty of bodies there, however not too crowded! Loved it!
