Ribs & Burgers Central Park

Ribs and Burgers is a chain of restaurants and we visited the store in Central Park, Chippendale. The store is on the bottom level food precinct. It is a large store with booth seating and tables. It was quite busy for a Monday and the staff were effectively dealing with the crowd. I've eaten at Ribs and burgers before, having a small beef pocket burger and the mutant blue burger (for a limited time only), but this time went for something a little different. We got the full rack of pork baby back ribs, the meat was nice and tender, melt in your mouth and the bbq sauce was really nice. The side salad we got was rocket, beetroot, walnuts and fetta, a good sized serving. Nice flavours, just a touch salty. Also got sweet potato fries with aioli. These were crispy and delicious - loved them. I got the cajun chicken burger sans avocado. Omg. A double bacon and cheese went down so well. And the best milo thickshakes I've ever had. It's a cool store with a nice courtyard to sit.

From the outside the store looks so well lit up and lively! They have a wagyu burger which looks so intense but is so juicy and delicious with the crispy fried onion peeping out. It’s got great bar-style seating for you to sit high and aso enjoy some ribs and chips on the side!

To catch up with a friend, we decided to go to Central Park and settled on Ribs and Burgers, which is located in the dining precinct.

Food:
I decided on the Original Burger ($10.50), which was made up of a beef patty, shredded Iceberg lettuce, tomato, Spanish onion, dill pickles and pink and BBQ sauce. It was a well flavoured burger, but it was hard to hold everything in the small bun, and a little too salty for my preference. Ribs & Burgers is one of many restaurants at the Central Park precinct that I consider as an oasis. It's slightly quiet location makes it a perfect place to wind down and at the same time enjoy good burgers and ribs.

The restaurant has a simple yet thoughtful decor over its slightly intimate yet spacious space. The servers are also quite friendly and attentive.

For me, the best dish out of their menu would be their ribs. It's slightly burnt taste makes it feel original and authentic. For the burgers, their original flavour is my favourite, and the naked option (served without buns and more lettuce) makes it a healthy choice.
