Ricardo's Cafe

#reviewtowin This is my favourite caf in Canberra. I know its saying a lot. The meals are always delicious, the cakes are to die for and the coffee is just bellissimo! Doesn't matter how busy they get the food is delivered quickly after ordering and the staff attentive to the customers needs. A great dining experience all round.

Very popular cafe with an amazing assortment of fine cakes and pastries, as well as the usual cafe fare such as gourmnet sandwitches, salads, and so on. The cakes are fantastic. Try a few of the macarons with a coffee, you won't be disappointed! Staff are numerous, helpful and friendly. Lovely place to visit for lunch before doing a shop at the plaza.

I was soooo excited when a friend introduced me to Ricardo's - the coffee here is good, there is a good selection of juices and cold drinks, but you really come here for the food. The breakfasts are HUGE, but the main attraction is the cakes - these are amazing, and are as good as anything I ate in France or at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, which had unbeliveable cakes and pastries.



If you feel like a sugar hit, or spoiling yourself, go to Ricardo's - thankfully I don't live too close to here, or I'd eat here every day, and none of my clothes would fit.

Hidden gem at Jamison Centre. Great place to catch up for coffee or lunch. Amazing cakes and wonderful salads.
