Located in Waitara, Rice Thai Restaurant has been serving diners authentic Thai cuisine for over ten years. This suburban restaurant is popular amongst diners due to its authentic and great tasting meals. The serving sizes are also ample. Favourites on the menu include the spicy curry puffs as an entrée, and the massaman beef and lime chicken curry for mains. All meals are great value for money. Meanwhile, the service is friendly and fast. An ideal spot if you feel like eating out or ordering takeaway.

How disappointing - when are restaurants that offer voucher deals going to offer a genuine deal???? Went on a Scoopon for three courses for two people with a drink. What they don't tell you is they are only giving you a half serve. Satay Chicken on the menu is 4 skewers we got 2. Coco Prawns 4 on the menu we got 2. Tiny serving for each main and to top it all off we ordered the apple pie for desert and got half a (probably Nanna's) each - REALLY????? They did offer for us to have boiled rice instead of desert. We opted for a special fried rice and paid full price but the plate was small perhaps they thought they were fooling us because giving us the right size would be a give away that they were skimping on the voucher serves - disgusting they charged full price for it. Food was quite tasty - nothing exceptional though and the Chef special duck was very ordinary but on principle I would never go back - so sad!!!
Very nice restaurant and they remember their customers taste very well. Authentic taste and have good ambiance inside the restaurant. Try it and you will love it.
This is a good restaurant, but last time when we went there, they mixed my orders (and there were only 6 people in the restaurant at that time). The problem is I am allergic to red meat and they served me red meat. I was not even offered an apology for that.
A nice restaurant with personalised service. The meals are flavoursome although not necessarily unique. Not expensive which makes it great as a small restaurant to visit regularly. It's set back off the street a little so look for the Caltex Service Station and it's directly opposite.
A fantastic little place to eat - intimate & atmospheric. Simple decor but friendly service and delicious food at a good price. I love their curry puffs and have a few favourite mains - especially the massaman beef, yellow lamb curry and the staple pad thai. i have varied my choice and nevr been disappointed. we eat in but also get take away too often to admit to!
