A Country footy club in the City!The Richmond Central Amateur Football Club (RCAFC) was established in 1987, and is home to four senior football teams: the Seniors, Reserves, Cardinals & U19s. The club operates from Kevin Bartlett Reserve off Yarra Boulevard in Richmond and is also scheduled to play a number of games on the famous Victoria Park in Abbotsford in 2013.
The RCAFC competes in the Victoria Amateur Football Association (VAFA) one of the biggest and most respected amateur football associations in the world.
The Seniors & Reserves compete in the VAFA Division 3, with more than half of our players originating from Country Victoria.
We have won Senior premierships twice, in 1989 and 1994.
Richmond Central are known as the Centrals or the Snakes.
The Snakes train most nights of the week on the fantastic riverside oval Kevin Bartlett Reserve. This is accessed from Yarra Blvd in Richmond.
