Ripleys Believe It Or Not Museum

A very interesting museum. I quite liked it and enjoyed the bizarre stories and historical facts of strange things and people around the world. Some things you read, gives you goose bumps, and some things make you go "wow" or "amazing" or literally make you think whether to believe it or not. People of all ages will enjoy this museum and get a good lesson or fact information about interesting things. It definitely made me go and do more of my own research on certain things. Would definitely recommend and worth a visit.

On a whim looking for something different to do (and motivated by a good deal) venturing out to Ripleys is truly an experience. The incredible displays definitely take the weird and wacky to a whole new level. From shrunken heads to medieval gadgets and torture items, all things good and small and some strange art. Throw in some effective laser lighting, easy walk through rooms and hands on exhibits and you will be amazed by the time you leave.

Great location in the heart of surfers paradise, easy to navigate parking close by and very friendly service at the front door. Highly recommend as a place to tick off your something different bucket list.

On a recent Gold Coast holiday, on the second last day and running out of things to do we decided to give this place a go as a friend had said we must see it.

What I thought was going to be more of a kiddies museum ended up to be loads of fun!

The interactive exhibits keep even the biggest kids entertained and you can't take anything you see for granted on face value as there are suprises around every corner!



See real shrunken heads, stand next to a scale model of the worlds tallest man and gaze in horror at the medieval torture section. Young or old give this place a go!
