Rita’s Bed & Breakfast provides accommodation amidst rolling hills in Grindelwald, northern Tasmania. There are two spacious rooms, accommodating up to six guests. Each has a private en suite bathroom. The rooms have wheelchair access and are equipped with television, DVD player, microwave oven, mini-fridge and dining table. One room also features a covered terrace. Tea and coffee making facilities are available and breakfast is included. Enjoy the lush landscaped gardens and mini-farm paddocks overlooking the Tamar River. A 15-minute drive from Launceston you will find Grindelwald Swiss Village with a nine-hole public golf course and mini golf. Just along the golf course you will be welcomed by your hosts Rita and Christian from Switzerland. An ideal base for day touring, sample the cool-climate wines of the Tamar Valley or book a cruise on the Tamar River. Enjoy leisurely walks around the seven hectare (18 acre) Lake Louise feeding the ducks and swans. Take a drive down the Tamar Valley Wine Route and sample some of Tasmania’s fine cool climate wines.
