River View Lodge
River View Lodge offers bed and breakfast accommodation at Devonport on Tasmania’s north coast. Devonport is an hour and fifteen minutes from Launceston (101 kilometres) and an hour’s drive from the Cradle Mountain National Park (83 kilometres). Located on the banks of the Mersey River, River View Lodge was built in 1877 for Sydney Griffith, a local ship builder. The heritage-style accommodation includes double, twin-share or single ensuite rooms, and standard rooms with shared bathroom facilities. A cooked breakfast is served each morning in the dining room. The Lodge has a guest lounge with a log fire, shared laundry facilities and there is a barbecue area in the surrounding gardens. The property also has facilities for guests with a disability. River View Lodge is close to local shops, restaurants and galleries and is a short drive from the Spirit of Tasmania Terminal.
