Rivers Clearance Store

The Werribee Rivers Store has to be one of the worst rivers stores I have been in. The red headed woman has to be one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with or should I say don’t deal with. She doesn’t like to serve you leaves you stand at the register and when you want to asked to be served she always says I didn’t see you there and this has happened on so many occasions and it happened again today but today I walked out without purchasing anything. Surely rivers expects their staff to give some kind of reasonable polite customer service. I did get a lovely young man serve me 2 months back and he even checked outback and found my size in a few colours, but of course he is gone already the decent staff don’t last long. Come on Rivers this store hardly has anything from your catalogue and if you ask that red headed rude woman for any kind of assistance she says it’s only what’s on there with a very don’t care attitude voice. ...read more

good place to go for a bargain, but don't count on getting anything that is advertised as they don't normally have it, the store is always messy and dirty

Compare to other stores this one is lacking. This place has hardly any stock that is advertised, it is constantly messy and the staff are useless with any assistance. I have been overcharged a couple of times and had issues when trying to correct this.

Staff at this rivers store are hopeless and don't seem to know what they are doing. Went in on a saturday and girl at the counter was telling people she had no change in her till and could only accept eftpos or correct money for purchases. When questioned by a customer on this her only excuse was that the banks aren't open on a Saturday, does this mean every Saturday we can only shop at this store if we have our bank cards or correct change??

Was also unhappy with the ladies range, plenty of great stuff for men, hardly anything for women. I will not be coming back to this store, next time I will drive the extra long drive to the other store which in my opinion is the best!
