Riviera Academy of Music
Offering students on the Mornington Peninsula first class vocal tuition, Riviera Academy of Music is fast becoming one of the peninsula's most reputable singing schools recommended by internationally acclaimed performers and vocal coaches.
Principal, Louise Barton is a working professional singer, performer, and recording artist who brings that extra element of experience and understanding into her classroom, teaching students not only the basics and fundamentals of singing, but also grooming them as though they are all working toward professional music and performance careers.
Riviera Academy of Music generally has 1-2 student recitals each year, allowing students to gain performance experience in a safe and encouraging environment, where they can also demonstrate their ability and progression to their families, friends, and fellow students.
Vocal programs include:
- Learning and developing correct breathing techniques and control
- Vocal placement
- Developing pitch and ear training
- Vocal stamina, preservation and correction
- Microphone techniques
- Understanding vocal anatomy and sight singing
Workshops and elite programs:
Theory and musicianship workshops are held throughout the year with all students encouraged to attend at least one each term.
Each year a select group of students are offered the opportunity to record with one of Melbourne's top music producers, learning the fundamentals of studio recording work.

- Early childhood development 3 -6 years
